Ready to quit Instagram and start using Flickr? Freethephotos will migrate your pics to Flickr for you, and it couldn't be easier to use.
If the events surrounding Instagram over the last few days have made you want to close your account and start using a different service such as Flickr, we understand. But before you go and delete your Instagram account, wouldn't it be nice to have all of your photos imported to Flickr for you?
As you can see from the tweet above, it's possible and the process is simple.
Freethephotos is a new Web site created during the peak of hysteria over Instagram's new Terms of Service. The intention is to allow Instagram users to migrate photos from their account to their Flickr account with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Here's what you'll need to do:

(Credit: Screenshot by Jason Cipriani/CNET)- Once you've authorized both accounts, check the box and enter your e-mail address to receive a notification when the migration process is complete. Then click on Free Your Photos.
There's nothing more you'll need to do. You can, if you'd like, sit back and refresh your Flickr account to watch your photos pour in.
As pointed out on Freethephotos' site, if you have a free Flickr account you'll run into some limitations as far as importing and viewing your photos. Only your last 10,000 photos can be imported in a given month (due to the 300MB limit per month) and you'll only be able to view your last 200 photos. There's also a warning on the site that transfer time may be slow due to high demand, so be patient if you have a lot of photos on Instagram.
Once the process is complete you'll receive an e-mail letting you know all your photos have been transferred and then you can go ahead and delete your Instagram account if you wish.
